Interactive Maps

Interactive scrollable, zoomable maps are availble for each chapter for your planing purposes. They default to Google topo maps, but you can select satellite imagery, USGS topo maps, or other forms. Select the chapter:

    These maps rely on the Google Maps API. They were generated with the spiffy GPS Visualizer tool by Adam Schneider from the master Garmin .gdb GPS track and waypoint logs for each chapter.Set Full screen mode to YES, Initial map type to "Google terrain," and Max points per track to 2000.

    Printing these maps from your Web browser may be erratic. Alternatively, you can take a screen shot by pressing Alt-PrintScreen (for Windows) or Command-Shift-3 (for Macintosh). Open a graphics program or word processor and paste the screen shot into a new document, then print the document.
